This is most gutless [uck fay]ing defensive performance I've ever seen from them in a half. They have 6 missed shots and 3 offensive rebounds from those 6 misses. We cannot stop them.

 

Props to the defense for holding them under 60 in the first half. Puts us in a good position to come back in the second half if we can shoot 90% from the field.

 

Had a feeling UK would come out on all cylinders after the news of Joe B Hall’s passing. They’re playing for him today. Oh well. Not like bad days in Lexington are a novel thing for UT.

 

So maybe the defense was given a boost from a fluff front end schedule

 

Like, I get that our defense hasn’t been excellent, but 79% from the field from a college team is more than just bad defense.

Calipari basically just admitted that the Tennessee defense sucked.

 

The last 4 minutes they hit basically every contested floater. We weren’t giving up the wide open layups and they still hit them.

Not really, UK has been getting to the paint at will and hitting open shots. Like, the defense has basically let them have a shootaround.

Our definitions of contested are very different if you think they had a lot of contested shots in the paint.

 

Those floaters weren’t in the paint.

 

For as good of a half as Chandler had offensively, he had an equally bad half on defense
