Well there is that.
Every little bit we can take from them will be killing them softly
When do I hit the panic button about upgrading the defense for next season? After Spring? I just thought I would hear about transfers at the LB and DB positions. Immediate contributors and starters.
A few weeks after spring practice. They had finagling to do with scholarships to get right.
Charles, Simmons and Mitchell coming back from injury add 3 quality defensive guys. Pearce, Perry and Williams need to contributers pretty quick from this recruiting class.
That happens, there's a functional 2 deep on defense
Grab a few dbs and a linebacker, it's a decent defense
Defense? We talkin about defense?
With what is coming back on offense, If the Vols could keep teams under 30 the Vols win. Defense is the next step.
Staff used PWO's to get the roster in better shape for the spring, after spring they can add some more bodies. It's a crawl right now but I think they are doing everything they can. We HAVE to add depth after spring in our secondary or we will be in big trouble.
And DT. Jenkins kid is a project.
That we were taking dudes who had offers as PWOs does suggest they plan on getting some transfers at some point.
Nil makes pwo more attractive too
Who exactly is giving these PWO’s NIL money anyway? The best deals we saw at TN were Mayfield and a cookie shop.
Agreed and they couldn't do anything really with transfers until after spring so it was smart to get some good quality PWO's.
Spyre is helping out quite a bit
The recent ones get enough to pay for food, books, lodging etc. Not huge deals but enough to make a difference in paying your own way and for everything.
There's definitely depth issues in the defensive backfield.
I was joking...playing on a classic Allen Iverson quote. Insert practice for defense. Not as funny when I have to explain it.
Okay get this one.
Yep, definitely need. I think we will get the kid from MTSU so if we can add this kid as well I would be pretty pleased.
