Right, but would still speak to the momentum that the staff was building.

Watching nico and his brother play volleyball you notice their athleticism and footwork immediately. Madden only a freshman and looks like a sr on the court. This is a reason why it’s sucked for awhile now with many sports and programs wanting kids to focus on one sport. Not only does it prevent burnout but also can help with vision, footwork, agility, eye hand coordination, etc. One of the reasons my son has been pretty good at lacrosse is from soccer and 7 v 7 learning the route tree and db footwork. Some of the other kids didn’t have those hours and hours of footwork work so it’s been an advantage. Keep that in mind as your kids grow and some coaches try to get them to focus on one sport. volleyball has made the brothers better football players and they are having a blast.

Was it ever proven that it also increased injuries in young athletes to focus on one sport? There was speculation on that and it made sense for some highly repetitive sports, movement-wise.

not sure. Overuse is overuse. Acls can be fluky, but there are also some footwork/knees not getting ahead of feet, etc things you can do to try to help prevent the added pressure. Seems like it’s going to happen anyway to a certain %. It is more prevalent in kids now than it used to be and they are fixing them at age 10 whereas they used to would’ve never thought about it

Yup and a DL from GA a few days ago.

Should be a few more over the next few days.

I really can’t think of a reason why any kid or right mind would choose Lexington campus over Knoxville. Plus more Ohioans around driving unaware or just moutbreathing others air at a restaurant.

That’s a whole lot of three-stars. I’m not super worried this early in the cycle because a lot of the higher-rated guys are still working out their options, and some of the others will be reevaluated (either in the “get a fourth star” sense or in the “dropped after bad senior years” sense), but it’s still a whole lot of three-stars.
