There is no way he can be as good as this hype, though.

 

The kid is good but the hype that has been put on him is basically unattainable.

 

And that's not good at all for most teenagers.

 

Kid honestly looks a bit miserable. I feel bad for him because I am sure he just wants to play ball. It's a lot to put on a teenager/young adult.

 

He's got two uncles and a grandad who's been through this as mentors. I think he'll be ok.

 

That definitely helps but his recruitment is on a whole other level.

 

Agreed, he's still the one that has to deal with it mentally. I hate it for him.

This is what scares me. It feels like we always start strong in recruiting and then as the season goes on we start losing guys. Hopefully we will have a pretty good year which I think we should and the NIL deals hold things together.

This is the first time since bray that we go in confident on how we can score points. That helps.

Yeah.

But I will admit I am enjoying the absence of dred. My drive over the mountains to the games for the last 10 years (it took me a few years to admit the suckage) were pure hell.

I can hold on until the confidence returns.
