I don’t think Heup is going to hand a portal qb the starting job. He won’t tell them he will either. I think some want that guarantee and a guy like Kiffin well 2 QBs they will both start and just leave another mess later. I think Heupel likes George and may be having trouble finding a portal qb who may come in and sit behind George depending how practice goes. He will continue to get beat in recruiting battles with certain type players involved who sign with a Kiffin who will say or do about anything then act like it never happened. Maybe we did slow play some too and outbid on others as well.
