Just too much of a shit show at the start to overcome. Hopefully Evans continues to develop next year. He’s got size, handles, get to the rim, can shoot a bit and can defend.

I was happy to see they actually battled back but that was a pitiful 30 minutes of basketball.

 

I just realized, that I don't feel so tense behind by 4 with single digit on clock than when we are up by double digits at half.

I do not like losing to UK and Vandy anywhere, but interesting stat. 1st Vandy win in Knoxville since 2017.

 

Vandy made some very tough shots and Gillespie could not buy a bucket. First half was awful, but we played pretty well in the second half, just weren’t shooting well enough.

We need to find a way to get some elite or experienced talent in for next year, but we’ve got a bunch of scrappy freshmen who can be pieces of a really good team.

 

Not sure a Barnes team has ever lost after a 60 point half. So weird seeing a team that can’t stop a nose bleed
