Throw Shaw into the second tier. I thought for sure Stanford would start their decline soon after Harbaugh left, but he's kept that program humming. Plus, I like his style of football. No more 3rd and 1 shotguns.

He's a great coach, but he's staying out west.

shaw's scheme is built for the SEC and teams that can recruit 5 star olinemen. his defensive staff is always great. he loses multiple games a year because he's a conservative ***** though. also, stanford can afford to match any offer and he's happy there.

i think he likes it at UW, but he wanted the USC job contrary to reports and haden expected him to kiss his ass and he didn't and that's why he didn't get it. the reports of him being happy at boise and a second tier program were mostly bs. so i don't think it's impossible he could go somewhere else if he felt he couldn't win big at uw and i honestly don't really think he can. they just don't have the recruiting base to win NCs.

I wouldn't read much into that.

The difference with some of the other guys is they made their names as part of the Saban machine. Same with McDaniels, Weiss, and Crennel under Belichick.

After UGA beats us by 2 TDs this weekend, they should fire Kirby Smart and then Kirby Smart arguably ought to be on the "Second Tier" list.... lol

I thought ten years ago Fisher would make a great college coach.

guy won double digit games 1 time in 10 years at rutgers and never once won the big east. and weren't big east teams playing like 5 non conference games back then?

rutgers has a pretty good recruiting base actually, but i get the logic. i think he's a fine coach for maryland or arizona state, but not for tenn.

We get Bobo and I'll burn that stadium down myself. Save us the trouble of watching him do it.

He's not even an upgrade over Butch.

there was probably a post like this here about Butch in September 2012
