I'm sure it's a great relief to both but once it sets in for AJ that he lost his career and whatever money, I wouldn't be surprised at some angry recourse. Truthfully, I hate it for everyone involved.
My biggest gripe with our law system. Perp walk and the fact Johnson's name is ruined even though acquitted.
If I can accuse you of something and put your name out there for the world to see, I need to put my name behind it. Especially if ive already been paid before court began. Really not a bad business plan. Say the 8th raped me at the tailgate, get all your real names out, ruin your lives, settle with the internet for $200k, and take you to court as Smiff.
AJ knows her name. He could smear her pretty good if he wanted, too. I’m guessing he will not, because this whole incident makes him look like garbage, too.
A little research will turn up her name. It’s not hidden, or redacted or being kept a secret by the courts. I forget her name, but I found it easily on the UT website at the time the incident occurred. It is however company policy that most, of not all, media outlets don’t name accusers in domestic violence, rape, etc cases, for obvious reasons.
