I wonder how bad hes really hurt. They are the best team in the country with him. They are substantially more beatable without him. At least for a handful of teams. None of which Bama has played yet.
They could roll me out there at QB and still win. But hey, you never know! I won't go so far as to predict a win, but I think we will show up
I'm speaking more toward future games for them. I ll take them over the field to win it with him healthy and on the field. I think there are 3 or 4 teams that could be in their path to a NC that have a legit shot of he goes down. I'm curious if they are cautious with him Sat playing the long game.
They'd have to not have their starting QB and be overlooking us. Beating Auburn makes it less likely to be overlooked. Plus they have a bye coming. I think we just need to show up and play. Try to get better. If we find ourselves in a ballgame entering the 4th, go from there.
Instead of dreading Bama all week im enacting the 96 hour rule of enjoyment after a W and may extend.
I've been talking shit to some Bama guys for the last 24 hours. Am I going to get my nose rubbed in it? Probably. But if we win, work will probably instruct me to take sensitivity training.
Alabama's defense is merely really good, not their usual great. They're kind of beat up on that side. They are comparable to Auburn. Their offense is all time great with Tua, just really good with Hurts. If Alabama stumbles out of the gate and gives the crowd and Tennessee a glimmer of hope, it will be a fist fight. I still think Alabama wins by 17+, but Tennessee has confidence on their side.
