Tenacious D The law is of supreme importance, or no importance

    This is excellent news.

I'm for Americans being given as much opportunity for gainful employment as possible.

But they're all minimum wage jobs, we need jobs that pay enough to buy Porsches and 5 bedroom houses

Jobs here are pretty nice salaried jobs is what I understand. And 5k perfect number. 50k was gonna be too much to handle.

NYC residents are giving backlash. They don't want it. Many of us in Arlington don't want it either. With all the tax breaks, we are ending up paying for their shit while absorbing increased housing costs and traffic.

The number I saw in NYC was give up 1.5b to gain 10+bn. Plus increased personal income taxes and the halo effect. If bringing in something like Amazon forces a city to update and reinvest in infrastructure it seems like a win.

If it pushes people who were living there somewhere else, and they are baring the costs, then they don't want it.

If you lose your apartment and your income stays the same while costs go up, you don't care about the "halo effect."
