I'm not Tenny but I think he's right.

There's just two corporation parties right now. I think the Democrats use to care about the average middle class worker, but technology replaced that and made it more profitable to do business with corporations instead backing workers.

Trump for all of his sins is a populist that seems to be more what a Democrat would have been in days of past, and the middle class loves him for it.

The establishment and elite in both parties hate him for it. The same as with Sanders, Tulsi, and Yang. They're threats to how business is done, so they're attacked like crazy.

I’d point to the fact that he’s long enjoyed 90%+ approval amongst Republicans, see no reason to offer further proof than that, yield the balance of my time, rest my rebuttal and go to lunch.

    This sounds most correct.

    It’s the establishment versus non-establishment.

If Trump doesn’t win, my second choice would be for Bernie, so long as he had a comfortably controlled majority of Republicans in both Houses of Congress.

I love Bernie’s utter sincerity and believe that he absolutely means well, his plans to get there are simply insane.

I think Bannon wasn't too far off base.

I don't disagree with Tenny other than maybe the exact numbers. Trump is widely adored by the voters, and a useful tool, necessary evil, or outright disliked by party people who matter. I don't see what's so complicated by it. Not much has changed since the get go other than the percentages of each shifting around here and there.

    Tenny holds:

"Trump? He’s always been the Republican. "

You seem to disagree, but not?

He's been the Republican since he became the Republican. When he's no longer the Republican, the other party politicians will abandon ship.

You make it sound whimsical, like front running.

Nah, more like a kid you don't like who owns the only ball in the neighborhood. Eventually you or one of your friends will get one, but until then, he gets to play and be quarterback.

Do 95%+ of those kids approve of him owning the ball and playing QB?

I don’t doubt that the GOP can [uck fay] this 8-year run up, and probably will, as the last 30 years or so can easily attest.

Trump is the closest thing to Reagan - both on policy and in political success - as you’ve ever seen before or are likely to see again.

If you consider someone more “Republican” than those two, name’em.

There was Lincoln. But I don't think you consider him Republican.

He is the founder of the Republican Party.

Right. Is he more republican than either Trump or Reagan?

    Because you didn't list him.

Depends on which era of Republican you mean. Republicanism was war on terror, patriot act, and compassionate conservatism in the early 00s. It was globalism and NWO in the early 90s with some welfare reform later on in the decade. Republican is what is in charge of the party at the time. It's for sale. Just like Democrats were the party of Jim Crow and segregation in the 50s and is the party of socialism now. Don't get hooked by the empty platitudes spilled by politicians on their way to power. It'll just make you feel bad in the end.

I can’t see what this is referencing, but imagine it’s to Float. I agreed with it on that assumption, alone.
