Also, had some Modelo Especial this summer. That may not be micro brew enough for beer snobs, but I liked it.

 

Modelo is good.

Way better than Corona.

 

Agreed. Had Modelo with & without lime. Either or was fine with me. Tried Corona without lime....didn't like. Didn't care too much for it with lime.

 

Never had either.

I find myself only drinking stouts and brown ales lately.

I was on an IPA kick before that.

 

tecate in a mug with a lime at a Mexican restaurant tastes fantastic. Out of a can from a cooler, not so much.

 

Tecate is like the Natural Light of Mexican beers to me. I don't mean that in a bad way. I like Natty from time to time. It reminds me of my roots.

Nah, Corona is the Mexican Bud Light. It's more expensive neck beer.

Got my growler filled with a local salted caramel porter. Surprisingly good. 25 coconuts for 64 oz though

Picked up Neopolitan Complex Imperial Stout from Southern Grist.

Also had some Founders Breakfast Stout last night.

 

Trying Lagunitas 12th of Never this week. Solid, consistent with the traditional Lagunitas tones.

The Aldi version of Shiner Bock is solid. Brewed in Belgium and less than a buck a beer in a 6 pack.

They don't sell it cold but I'm impressed.

 

Name of it? Shiner is my go to. Cold bottle out of a cooler on game day goes down quickly.

 

Love the beer thread but sipping on some single barrel Jack I got from my girls. Merry Christmas y’all.

 

Can't remember the name but the label is a pretty blatant rip off. You'll see it.
