I’m just throwing out the first names that come to mind: Al obviously, Jerrod Mayo. Kevin Burnett. Eric Westmoreland, Nick Reveiz
Raynoch, Al, and Emo was about as good of linebacking corps as one could ask for. Emo decapitating that dude from Vandy might be my favorite UT hit of all time.
Andy Spiva has to be on the list. Not sure if he still is, but he was the SEC leader in career tackles for a long time.
Kiner Jackie Walker DeLong Hacksaw Reynolds Are some good pre 90s players I feel a lot of folks don’t mention.
we've had a number a good LBers a few great, but overall in the years we can cover the flat, and we can't cover tight ends. Safeties been bailing em out for years.
Ernest Fields deserves a strong mention. The LB with the best college and pro career is easily Jack Reynolds.
