The Pearl chatter is only going to get worse until he is employed somewhere or we actually start winning. Being a UT fan is such a fun ride. It is like being strapped down in a mining cart plummeting straight to hell.

I'm with IP on this one, but for discussion's sake I'll say Fulmer. Old and washed up, but at least he didn't willfully destroy his own credibility.
To answer my own question, I don't know. If wipe my ass with sandpaper to avoid either was an option, I'd give it heavy consideration, but Vol fans as a whole would owe me. Either would be a nightmare in their own way. I didn't mind Bruce so much before he showed himself to be a complete dumbass. The fact that Kentucky fans hated him was enough for me, but bringing him back could be a death blow for the program. Phil was washed up when he left. He still is, but the embarrassment would be less overall for the University I would say.
