So, it's all come back full circle for us Vols Fans. When we (me and lots of other people not necessarily you) you were [itch bay]ing about wanting young blood as the offensive coordinator (fire Randy Sanders) now we want or better yet YEARN for the days of the I-Formation. Play action off that,maybe a quick slant and go. I'm just rambling. Not going anywhere with this.

 

A 6.4 is generous.

The three yard out plays to the side lines drove me freaking nuts. Also, Fulmer's allergic reaction to anything between the hash marks.

 

I just want an OC that plays to the strengths of the talent he has. Kiffin/Chaney did it, Chaney did a fairly good job with it too. Fulmer with Randy Sanders didn't work too well, Fulmer with Cutcliffe did. Clawson would have worked, I think, in year two.

 

Just get the ball to playmakers in space.

Randy was the king of taking our guys that killed it running wide and forcing them to slam into a guard.

 

Clawson would have worked if Fulmer would have let him do his job.

 

Not so sure. Highly doubt it for 2008. Maybe if they hired him in 2006.

Clawson was dead last in offense at Wake 2 years ago by a lot. Like historically bad. Didn't do much better last year. Finished 113th.
