Their are too many bowls because athletic departments lose a lot of money sending their teams to a lot of them, all the while the "non-profit" bowls stack their paper. UT/UNC should have playe in either Chapel Hill, NC or Knoxville, TN last year, with the teams splitting the revenue. But we all know these bowls control CFB.
