Bob Stoops Retiring

What do you think he'd do at A&M? Let's say he arrives in 2018 and coaches five years there.

 

Hard to say because Bama seems almost untouchable at the top. They would instantly have the 2nd best coach in the SEC, by far, that also has strong recruiting ties instate.

Stoops is closer to Saban's level than any other coach in this league is to Stoops. JMO

 

i think he'd do very very well given the talent sumlin has recruited there.

 

Win the sec once

 

Mother****er has 10 conference championships. Bring him on.

 

That's easy to do when you have 7 backup teams.

 

That's not really a factor, but War Damn Deacon Vols anyway.

 

That's what I'd say, but I wouldn't be shocked if he was basically just a 9-3 guy there.

 

He's got more talent than MSSt, Arky, Ole Miss. The others are a wash or more talented.

 

As for here....Stoops would have won 10-11 regular season games here the last 2 seasons and been in the SEC Championship game both years. We would have challenged Bama both years for the SEC title and been knocking on the door of making the playoff last year.

That's all Ive got to say about that.

 

He's a top 5 hire.

It might not be a sexy enough hire for some but he's a winner.

 

He would objectively be the best hire since Johnny Majors.

 

You obviously overlooked the many conference titles Butch won prior to his hiring. When you work out the division, they add up to almost one.
