Apparently has died.
Didn't even know he was sick. Was a really short thing.
Just heard on the Ainge show. I am very sad at the moment.
"Pay these prices and please. Pay. NO MORE!"
Liver cancer. Not entirely shocked by this part.
He was one of those parts to a gameday experience that you don't forget. Heres to you making your mark on UT football tradition Mr. Denton.
47 years at Neyland. Wow.
A kick in the balls to all associated with orange. "It's fourth and to the river".
Gameday will definitely sound different
I do hope they keep his could of trademarks on recording and play them.
Damn. Saturdays at Neyland won't be the same.
Man, that's awful. I loved hearing him whenever I came to UT games.
I really liked his announcing.
Another staple of my childhood gone.
Thanks for the memories Bobby.
Its been a rough day............RIP
One of my recent favorites was 5 or 6 years ago. The ref called a penalty and he didn't get mic turned off in time after he announced it and you heard him say "I hope that's right".
I loved the "It's 3rd and the river!"
Sad day. Will miss that voice across the stadium.
soon to be followed by "First down <insert opponent name here>"
Separate names with a comma.
