What did ole albatross have to say avout it?. Was he pleased with how Matt Milton played and the debut of coach head coach Josh Heupel from Central America
This may be the best part of the weekend for me. Payton running. Heup in the background calling the next play.
Georgia has a national championship defense and a 7-5 offense Emory Jones had a few Guarantano moments in Gainesville Alabama isn't slowing down until Saban dies Kentucky has found the forward pass
Elsewhere, Pitt and Kentucky joined us in playing some of the worst teams in FBS. Pitt torched UMass, and Kentucky looked a little bit more like us, but flipping the run/pass—they dominated in the air, were unremarkable on the ground, and had a couple turnovers holding the final margin under 40. Missouri was admittedly playing one of the better MAC teams but they still gave up almost 500 yards and might’ve been in trouble if not for a +2 turnover margin. Florida’s run offense was dominant, pass offense was bad. They’ll figure it out against us, because they always do.
Florida will be down a TD with 2 seconds left at their own three, do a 15 lateral play for a TD and then fumble the extra point, but still run it in for two and the win. All of this will happen and I will totally expect it to occur while they are lining up on their own 3 for that last play.
I see it as we are up 2. on our own 30, with 10 seconds to play. FL is out of timeouts. We are in victory formation. We are getting ready to tear down Gainesville. We snap the ball, fumble it, FL recovers. They kick a field goal.
I had it on while I was working in and out of the house. Bob was a little confused at times like usual, but the worst was getting so little in the play by play. Offense moves too fast, and Bob was always far better on television than radio.
Just a thought - Did Milton just decide there was no way these guys were beating us and just decide to phone it in, per se?
He definitely didn’t intentionally phone it in. It’s possible he lost his discipline because it was too easy, I dunno, but that wouldn’t necessarily be a good sign
