I'm a little confused as to why I'm storming the castle. Is it because a company which serves delicious yellow and brown food at reasonable prices decided to part ways with an employee it no longer deemed worth her salary, despite the fact we know nothing about the circumstances, because her husband posted on facebook? Just making sure...
Do we like Brad? Is he a trustworthy fellow? Do you think those greedy bastards at CB had any reason for firing his wife, or do they just hate terrific employees in general?
Was she the lady who put wood on the fire every half hour or so? They might be fine through the summer months, but by the end of September, they are going to have a problem...
Brad seems to love his wife. That's all we can tell. And that's enough for me. I'm betting the ceo threw a dart and hit her name to fire. My guess is he watched the whole thing in closed circuit TV and laughed while eating a biscuit and drinking sweet tea.
It's been my experience that's what CEO's do. Probably laughed so hard his tophat fell off. I've heard the place has gone to hell since she left. Had a friend who went there on Sunday and said he had to wait for an hour just to get some pancakes. Said the front of the store was filled with worthless, random crap, and the walls looked like they had been decorated with stuff from a junkyard.
Truly, this is the beginning of the end for CB. Soon the checkers will go missing and the gravy will be lumpy.
I'm guessing cracker barrel is really confused, more than brad and his wife. Funny stuff. I do want to hear cracker barrel's side. I have a funny feeling brad knows exactly why.
I laugh imagining the 60 year old waitress at a Cracker Barrel in BFE getting asked about Brad's wife by random "cool" teenager trying to be funny and the waitress having no clue what they are talking about.
According to the change.org petition (lol) it wasn't even his birthday. It was the day before his mom's birthday. Perfectly acceptable to fire someone on a day that isn't their mother-in-law's birthday.
agreed. firing someone for no reason isn't good business simply for the fact you have to hire and train someone else to replace her. it's pretty hard to get fired anywhere frankly outside of layoffs.
If I worked as a server at the same place for 11 years, they would have a hundred reasons to fire me. That's a long time doing a relatively thankless, unglorified, and low paying job. I'm guessing she was too big for her britches at that point. I would be.
According to heavyxxx.com, she was a retail manager there (even though people are leaving fake reviews calling her their best server... lol). I wouldn't think there would be too many ways to get fired. On the other hand, her name is Nanette. Where the **** else besides Cracker Barrel is she going to work?
