Maybe after Kiffin left on Cutcliffe but not now. We'd have several East titles since 2010, and the UF streak would have ended much sooner had he been the coach, and while I'm not sure about the Bama rivalry we'd at least be respectable again playing them.

Mullen has really only had 3 good seasons at MSU with this presumably being his 4th in 9 years. I know he has been in the loaded SECW, but he has had some bad flops at times.

Fuente is a different cat from what I have heard. Sounds like he might be a Beamer type in that he could content staying in Blacksburg for a long time.

Gruden and Kelly would be 1a and 1b for me. I would pay either whatever price they desired. Stoops would probably be my next guy up. If they go up an comer outside of Fuente, I think Brohm/Fleck/Fuente (Would Brohm and Fleck leave 1 year in?) would be preferred. My fear is that we would hire Frank Wilson.

 

The last two hires weren't good enough to be considered up and comers, so it's likely that the next guy will be some bargain bin scrub from a shitty conference.

I'd love Gruden but the guy has no pressure and unlimited access to all the football he could want, pro and college, and is making a shit ton of money doing it.
