Broom still stands today. I don't care if ip is right, it was mind-blowing when I first saw it last night. We have now learned a broom will stand on its own as it does not seem that it should.

I think it is interesting how quickly our minds can be fooled into believing in something unnatural, despite the natural, physical world being all we really know.
Nothing unnatural about gravity. People were fooled into believing legitimate scientific principles were at play.
There are legitimate scientific principles at play. Believing the Equinox or the moon or whatever could affect a broom's balance can only happen if one doesn't understand what the Equinox is or the sort of influence the moon can have. "Tide goes in, tide goes out. You can't explain that!" - Bill O'Reilly.
Can't post the pic on my phone, but logic still dictates that with my broom being angled gravity would cause it to tip. I can't believe the longer strands of the broom are heavy enough to offset the weight of the broomstick
This is why this is crazy to me. Looking at it, it seems it would never work. Seems should be too top heavy.
Theoretically, and given ideal considitions, couldn't anything be capable of being perfectly balanced? No challenge - just as question.
I can't imagine that you've tried watching either Top Gun or Footloose while this condition has remained unchanged.
