I am amazed. If I was miles though, I would not be too sad. I think chavis has hurt them the last two years.

Does this mean we get Ugo?

  4. RockyHill

RockyHill Loves Auburn more than Tennessee.

If he doesn't get a really good DC it very we'll could be his undoing.

Wasn't he recruiting Amadi pretty hard?

I thought Chief recruited about as much as I do.

    That oddly changed this year.

Maybe Sumlin told him to prove he could recruit and he'd have the job.

    Damn.

What's this also possibly do with Dylan Jackson, too?

Didn't Chavis just re-up (like, in the past week) to stay at LSU? Apparently, he "loves" them like he "loved" Tennessee.

His fat overrated ass will be Sumlin's undoing. He made sure to give LSU one final shit performance out the door though.

I don't know who this may be more ominous for - Miles, Sumlin or both?

Miles can get whoever he wants for a dc.

He won't be able to snag the DL talent LSU had. And Sumlin's offense won't do him any favors. He will regret this.

Probably a money move with retirement in sight.

He's 58. I've got no clue how much longer he wants to coach, but I have a gut feeling it's in the 3-5 year range max. Miles has about worn out his welcome in Baton Rouge, and he probably figures he can ride into the sunset here.

I don't see where he's going to get the d line guys he needs, but whatever. I'm cheering for his demise so I don't care.
