That deal I made with the devil, the one where I can't die until the Cubs win a series might have been my best contract negotiation ever.

Can't risk it. As of now, the pain, suffering and alcoholism of the base outweighs my soul, but if too many get in on the deal, it might alter the balance in favor of calling the contract.

 

I tried to get a non-aging clause, but we couldn't come to terms.

 

The devil is a practical being. It is far cheaper and more efficient to have you suffer up here eternally in a hell of your own making, than to go through the trouble of ferrying your soul down there and finding an empty slot in the lake of fire.

 

Then I think we need to find the son of a [itch bay] who made a similar deal with UT football and go ahead and force the dude's ride south.

We lose at EVERYTHING.

And on top of that, nine innings of shut out ball...and we leave something like 6 runners stranded in scoring position and lose on a walk off homer in the 10th. Starting the season in grand style.

 

Bonifacio 2-2 today, 2 runs scored already, 11 for 14 for the series. Sweet jeebus, he is going to hate leaving Pittsburgh.

 

Too early to say we take game 3, so, as a Cubs fan, I'm going to do it.
