I watched the end of the 97 and then 98 SEC title games last night. I've yet to see the block in the back on Al Wilson's int return in 22 years. If that doesn't get called back we win that game by 30. The defense absolutely dominated that game.
Sanders was asked why he didnt run that play more often than once a year and he said, "the more you run it the better chance the defense has to stop it". Uh ok randy
Ooh i like a quick end around to the slot or hback in man. Pick his guy off quick by his own teammate who has the rb man to man and faking a toss sweep
Reminder - 91 Sugar Bowl on tonight at 6EST. Johnny Majors documentary at 8 77 Sugar Bowl Pitt beats Georgia at 9. All on ESPNU. Watch or set DVR accordingly.
Imglad for them, along with Carter, cell phones were new but no cams, no internet and nobody walking around with a camera. Thats when the strip was the place to be as well as players hanging out at frats for band parties after games. Theyd be crazy to go have a beer with some random students now which kinda sucks some life out of the college experience.
2004 was what I used to think the standard, good not great Tennessee offense should look like up until just a few years ago. Oh, to be spoiled like that again.
I can't understand why networks continually show games from the past decade as "classics." I'd like to see the first football game ever televised, not a repeat of the Titans losing to the Chiefs in January.
