That will be a game. Oakland is really good. Destroyed Brentwood in the trenches.

Brentwood lax club dev program to middle school is not even $300 per season. Coaches dont make much if any. Summer club travel is $1200. Soccer club travel for tsc and some others ran us $3kish if not more.
I believe besides costs during pandemic, some ADs and coaches were worried about some thin track and baseball teams losing players and risking their big sport teams.
My buddy has started an inner city program, but its going to take more help from ages 9-13 to introduce as most kids out here didnt know the sport, tried it and are like holy shit this is fun. There had to be 50 shots by each team today. Back and forth, so kids seem to latch on quick if they can handle the physical part and not mind getting whacked with a stick or poked in the ribs.
We donated 30 sticks last year to the program i mention above, which arent that much cost per stick. Helmet is the main expense, but you can carry 13 players and compete, so it wouldnt be that bad. Starting the sport in 8th or 9th grade would be tough and take a lot of work to catch up though.

Not sure yet. Now that we're not going out of town next weekend I am gonna try but didn't feel is was in my best interest to broach that subject tonight.

DB have them all they wanted last night. Best o line they've faced by a mile.

To state we go in 6A. Good accomplishment this year. It will end abruptly as we dont have the beef in the trenches or matching speed on the outside but been fun to watch.

They manhandled the lines. DB showed it could be done last week. This week it was on full display.

Best Oakland team yet IMO. Even without the transfers they are really good.

Will be curious to see if the TSSAA shutdown for a bit after the championship games and the 250k check from Cookeville.

I expect the public division to be 5 blowouts with 2A being the only good game.

Yeah one of my best friends and roommates from college coaches at Meigs. I hope they can pull it off this year.
