I'll try to get him to. He's built different than me. I never had his issue. Def will start going heavier weights. Appears it's time
Hes creeping up on 4.75 laser 40. Doesn't sound great as we hear about football recruits but it's a good time. Thing is his first 20 is faster than 2nd 20. Shouldn't be that way and strength has to be a factor

    Trap bar deadlift bar.

the number one exercise for building overall strength IMO.

It really increases speed and jumping abilities too

Sons first HS game experience was last week JV. 20+ sophs and 4 fresh. He got in earlier than expected. Then he was on the man down team, unexpectedly. Then we had a dpole go out with injury and I look out there and coaches sent him in to play dpole with 5 minutes left in the game. He's never played it.
Very happy to see as all it shows to me is he is competing in practice and D'ing up, and then he made V roster for River Riot Saturday which was cancelled. Brentwood has about 50 kids in thr program so no easy feat He's #13 among the sophs.

Just talked to a longtime friend this morning catching up and had no idea his son is a pretty good qb evidently for Alcoa and in running for Mr football. Wouldn't have expected it as I don't recall the dad playing any sports.

He's pretty dang good. Nearly single handed beat Maryville.

probably big. His dad may have played ball. Was a big tall and thick dude. I was around him for close to 5 years and don't ever recall him picking up a ball of any sort or running 1 step.

They ran a power or counter with him 3 out of every 3 plays in the second half.

Oakland churning out more players than MBA and BA. Good to see.

Lipscomb vs CPA again. LA already beat them 38-0. Dilfer with a qb going to cincy and rb going to BC.
Oakland beat them 29-21 this year but I know LA wants that one back.

Having to shelve my son for a bit. Think and hope it's just a little overuse and he's growing. Knee is bothering him enough for him to pull himself out. Running and playing 4 days a week plus 2 or 3 lifting. One thing at the gym he told me about was similar to dead lift but they do a jumping motion. Not sure his knee growth plates are ready for that.
