I didn’t spend all those years not getting laid so I could not tell the difference between an Avengers logo and a Fantastic Four logo

Lol, forgot about that. I read the comics as a kid, watched the cartoon, and have completely blacked out the movies as they felt so phoned in.

 

Sony is the only other company I trust to do things right consistently, but they got much better once Marvel took a larger role in production. The first couple Spider-Man movies with Toby were pretty good but not even on the level of the Holland movies

Fox released like 3 good movies out of all they did. The rest ranged from bad to utterly disgraceful

 

We are at a point in the super hero movie genre where full on "origin" movies/scripts are not necessary or interesting. A great example of NOT doing that is Black Panther. We also didn't need origin stories for Hawkeye, Black Widow, etc. Not everyone needs one and the more of these they make the less anyone needs a dedicated stand alone origin movie. So if they roll out ANOTHER Fantastic Four origin story stand alone, I'll [uck fay]ing puke. Just saying.

 

My guess is that, wherever Phase 4 is going, they need Reed Richards to come in and invent stuff to turn the tide.

And Dr Doom will fit in somehow. Maybe they just go full on Secret Wars since the Multiverse is playing into everything

 

I agree. Work it in so people know it was a space accident, etc, but just start out full bore Fantastic Four fighting Mole Man as the Bond movie beginning, then go straight to Dr. Doom.

 

There's been a potential reference in WandaVision to the FF, so my guess is they will come in guns a blazing.

 

I feel like there needs to be some sort of explanation as to where they’ve been all these years

 

The title of the Spiderman movie makes me think this is going Secret Wars.

 

Same place as the X-Men and mutants.

 

Post-credits scene in one of the movies shows them unsnapping in space, then maybe the Guardians find them or something?

 

Or this, just multiverse

GoG would make most sense, or the Marvels.

Which means it'll be Black Panther.
