It honestly felt like a smack in the face. Like they were saying “yeah, you paid to see this movie, and no, we did not give it our full attention while we made it. We were also working on THIS:”

I think you're the only person that feels this way

    Are you shocked, really?

    I was downright giddy.

I mean, keeping the ball rolling for what's coming next is kind of been happening since the original Iron Man movie

You can do that without showing half a damn movie.

    A 2 minute trailer of a 2-1/2 hour movie?

The effort at continuity and creating the feeling of a real full universe is the strength of the Marvel franchise. It brought an element of the best of a series to a motion picture franchise. I am not a huge MCU fanboy, but that is the element that is worthy of praise and emulation by other franchises the most. So it is not surprising that Indy doesn't care for that.

Watched Infinity War last night as we make our way through the Avengers movies.

There are so many good ole liners in that movie.

"I bid you farewell and good luck, morons."

I don’t mind the continuity, nor do I mind the teasers and hints distributed via post credits scenes. I thought the scene mid-credits was great. I just don’t understand the point of essentially showing an entire preview and then some.

It was the first trailer. They didn't want to release the trailer until after Spiderman No Way Home was released so they killed two birds.

We buying Tom Cruise as an Iron Man variant or not?

He was almost Tony Stark in the beginning

    Did not know this.

But I think it would be pretty fun.

I eagerly await Downey to come back as a variant as well. I don't think it'll be a big role, just a cameo appearance.

I was just standin’ here, Tom Cruise locked himself in the closet.

Nope looks like it may have potential.

Y'all see who made a" cameo" at 1:18 of the Doctor Strange trailer?

    Yup.

Also feel What If? will need to be required watching before watching this.
