Man of Steel frackin rocks!

Zack Snyder attempted to destroy the movie with his fetish for exotic animals, Lloyd Christmas as Zod and god awful camera effects and costume designs.

Thankfully Goyers script over came Snyders limited abilities.

I swear, Snyder makes Uwe Boll look like Speilberg.

 

Uwe Boll thinks he is Speilberg.

Will make the Trek tomorrow.

Not sure I can get the wife in to see Man of Steel.

 

I really enjoyed the parts where he was growing up, coming to terms with his powers.

After that it was Independence Day/Matrix Revolutions on steroids.

I did like Amy Adams in her role, though.

 

The first two acts sold me on the movie.

I am still amazed Snyder got this gig.

 

Going to see it this afternoon.

UPDATE:
enjoyed it quite a bit. the first half was definitely about coming to terms with himself, and the second half was definitely about breaking stuff. no real complaints from me. I'd still hit it, but Lois Lane should be hotter JMO GBO VFL

The wife being the wife hits me during the movie and says, hey, that girl looks like a cross between a young Nicole Kidman and a young Tanya Harding.

Of course earlier, I said Zod looks like Lloyd Christmas complete with bowl cut.

 

Went and saw Monsters U and it was great.

Saw Superman again a few days ago and caught the Wayne Enterprise on the satelite.

Also I picked up the Man of Steel soundtrack, awesome!

The boy wants to see Pacific Rim. I will have to show him the versions I grew up with Robot Jox and Robot Wars.

 

Just wait until he gets done with Justice League.

 

The worlds Nolan's Batman movies are set in and the one Man of Steel is set in seem totally different to me. I mean there's some crazy tech in the Batman movies but mostly it steers clear of the overly fanciful. Will be interesting to see how this would translate into a Justice League movie.

 

No, no, not again. I'd rather see a Kicking & Screaming sequel.
