I posted this in another thread, but the defensive rankings by quarter tell the story on both talent and depth. Q1: 6th Q2: 53rd Q3: 10th Q4: 91st
I'm just messing. It is apparent many people comment on all sorts of things without actually reading.
This might be in the article because I didn't read it but we were the least penalized team in the SEC the last 2 years
Good read. Heard Jones sent Connelly a thank you note and also moved him near the top of his Christmas List.
T'was sarcasm. I'm sure Jones is thrilled (continually) having the pressure dialed-up. Connelly's piece is just another boomerang for him to avoid. Let's hope he coaches to, nay, exceeds expectation
You fellas need to lay off the kool aid. The article says that it's hard to see them not winning more than 7 games. That means 8 or more. While that's a step, it's hardly time to party like it's '98 again (or 97, or 96, or 99, or '89...). The 8th win coming in late December or January shouldn't even surprise anyone.
I need hope. I barely have any with Butch, I had none with Dooley. If anything, it should show how easy the Tennessee job is. We're foaming at the mouth for 9 wins
I'm hopeful for 9 wins in total. I'm not sure I can find them on the schedule. Still, if Debord is 50% better than Bajakian, injuries are kept to a minimum, and the o-line is at least mediocre, I think it happens.
