I like the improvement. However, I have wondered all year how teams were struggling to shut down a completely 1 dimensional offense. Turns out, the reason was that those teams sucked.
Nobody has trouble stopping them lately, they havent scored more than 17 points in like 6 games. That is the worst 7-2 I have ever seen. That said, we had a ton of elite recruits, so just for today we dominated the number 11 team. Nice win.
Having watched us let games like this slip away from us over the past ten years (and even this year... see South Carolina...) I am trying really hard not to believe we are on our way back. Today’s win (minus the 4th quarter turnover fest) goes a long way towards instilling confidence that we are about to have a program nobody wants to play again and that just tingles my jimmies no end.
There are no corners. We're improving, but the second half is the most recent half and it was... rough.
Great win, and great for recruits in attendance. Same old Kentucky. Still shit. You should have seen how much blue was in the stadium tonight - more than I’ve ever seen in Neyland, in every game, combined. Enjoy the drive home.
Defense really seems to be coming together. O line seemed better except for the usual BS from Richmond.
I was getting worried... the 4th quarter was just awful for both teams but UT made plays when they had to. Gotta give ‘em credit. I really didn’t think we’d win this game. Hopefully they can carry the momentum into next weeks game.
This was the first time since Kiffin that all defensive units were on point and working through blocks toward the ball carrier. When you see guys playing their best games week after week after week, there is some serious coaching going on.
Dislodged the ball from QB and grabbed it as it squirted loose. Also almost dislodged his head from his body.
