I don't understand the resistance. It seems completely irrational.

 

I don't get how you can look at the numbers, clearly see that vaccinated people are at less risk, and still not get it.

Are there a few medical conditions out there I'd be hesitant about? Absolutely. But we're talking extreme rarity of those situations.

I read a story about a 5 yr old who unexpectedly caught and died of COVID, who was totally healthy. Family is so far fine and they have no idea how he got it... but they are unvaccinated (and negative). This is Oregon Trail stuff and we owe it to each other to do what we can to end it.

 

Saw something on Twitter about how Alabama's best shot at getting the entire state vaccinated is to have Saban make a statment that the Tide won't hit the football field until the state hits 90% vaccinated. They'd all be 1st dosed by end of day Monday.

 

Wouldn't be a bad idea. Plus they could go as husband and wife and get some type of sibling coupons

It is interesting how we all pick and choose the rules to follow sometimes.

 

The slope on this 7 day moving average is as bad as any of our other big peaks. But the last two to three days have about flattened on new cases, which makes me hope that it's starting to burn out.
