I’m not going to miss an opportunity to point out Float being wrong just because it makes you feel like you have light flu symptoms.

 

She doesn't work, and pretty much never has. Husband works from home. She orders everything online and has it delivered. I doubt she gets her own groceries, to be honest.

 

Gotta leave the house to get COVID. Doesn't come in through the AC unit.

Wife just tested positive. Vaxed, boosted and had antibodies last year. Slight fever and throat scratchy. There's no stopping it.

 

Yeah Omicron seems to do what it want with regard to transmission. The antibodies should keep her out of trouble with it, which is what we largely have to focus on now - in addition to doing what we can to avoid exposure (particularly if we don’t have that antibody help).

 

Welp, son has over 100 temp and is coughing his head off. Sounds like it has defeated the strongest immune system on earth. Of course, he says he's fine and we don't need to worry about him.

 

Son got it as well. Basically cold symptoms with a fever anywhere from 100-103. No schoolwork, and he’s been QT’d to his room and the den. We abandoned any thought of being techno responsible parents so he’s done nothing but read one (1) book, watch mr beast on YouTube, and play fortnite/robux with fellow covid+ kids. 8yo boy heaven.
Daughter pondered how he got it and we didn’t, then remembered how she lectured him for leaving used gum lying around when the puppy got ahold of it. So he took it from the dog and proceeded to finish it off, because ‘he put some candy in the gum and didn’t want to waste it’

 

My daughter had it too and is already recovered, like the Dr. said everyone is going to get it.
