I'd take a dead Neyland over a live D****y as our coach any day.

    The correct answer is:

Sure. They have uniforms and everything. It's great.

    We feel your pain.

Glad you have a place to talk about "home" in your "home away from home". It's deserved, imo.....

Even if you disagree with me on everything...

They play in a stadium built on an active fault. That's extreme, brother.

Using science to fight the science guy.

I would say that's stupid, but this is America. Feel free to have an opinion.

They've had a team since 1886. They didn't play full seasons until 1916 because of travel distance issues with many other teams.

You guys know how many games UT played in 1891? 1. And we lost. Making a big deal about how many games Cal was playing prior to 1916 is asinine.

Their mascot is extinct. Just like Davy Crockett.

Call me crazy, but I do find the earth shaking violently underneath my feet pretty disconcerting.

Cal is UT without tradition or national titles. All they have is their worthless academic prestige.

Common misconception, and truly unfair to the bear to be associated with characteristics of UCLA fans.

I find floods, fires, tornadoes, and hurricanes disconcerting as well.

Between 1892 and 1915, UT played 168 games(7 gm/season). That's including two seasons of no team, and another season taken off to help fight in the Spanish-American War (starting to sense a theme here).

    Your original statement was
They might have had a team longer, but they haven't been playing consistently longer.
