From toos: All, Daniel was in the National guard with me here in Clinton. He was killed this morning in a single vehicle accident. on his way in to drill. He was less than 2 miles away from the armory. I know some on here have an opinion of him as being a trouble maker from back in his playing days, but I can tell you from a personal experience the he is not that person anymore. He is a great guy with 3 beautiful children that have unbelievable personalities. He works as a patrol officer for DCS helping with children, and he owns a farm that he really enjoyed. He has completely turned his life/attitude around from when he was on the hill. He had such an infectious personality, and he would give you his last dollar if he knew you needed it. He really was an outstanding human being, friend, and most importantly, father. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Tennessee took him and his high school QB over Patrick Willis. The QB went on to be a pretty good tennis player here.
