Your comment was a response to a post discussing the CFP. If your only aim was to say that 11-3 is better than 4-8, I'm not sure why you'd bother. No one is going to disagree with that. But if you were suggesting that USC being in the CFP conversation late in the year was an indicator of their improvement, I'd argue that their season was 100% media driven. Were they better than last year? Sure. Were they anywhere near as good as they were made out to be the entire season. Not a chance.
