that the Clippers and Warriors were not going to play tonight if Donald Sterling had not been detonated by Adam Silver. They also told Aldridge that the other four teams scheduled to play tonight were going to boycott.

If that's the case, then why didn't they do it already? I'm calling bullshit.

Exactly. These are tough guys, though. They turned their jerseys inside out to protest.

The threat alone would have done the trick. No way the NBA would have allowed the games to go unplayed. No chance.

Nor do I. They didn't even reverse the jerseys for the entire game and now we are to believe they would have boycotted a full playoff game?

That's the question I'd like to have answered. Did they inform the league of this proposed boycott?

Sorry I read that as "wouldn't have gotten away with it" for some reason.

I think it would be the difference between protesting a pending investigation vs protesting a slap on the wrist.

I agree with that. Protesting immediately often ends up being counterproductive. You risk making the subject of the protest look sympathetic. If you protest and it comes out the tape was doctored, you look like fools.

    May be the case.

Jordan didnt seem to be aware of any possibility of not playing the game in his interview post game, not that he would admit that anyway if it were the case.
