If he hires Frank Wilson, that would be awesome

 

It's not like I want these guys to leave, but I needed a little bit of coaching search in my off-season. Just to hold me over.

 

McClendon would be a huge help (good coach and great recruiter). Tee has been a disappointment on the recruiting trail so far.

 

He sure has, and as we've seen Pruitt doesn't tolerate that very much.

He is one of our best coaches and is starting to get things going on the recruiting trail so I can see why we would do that.

Derrick Nix name mentioned offhand on toos. Wouldn’t be a bad hire.

 

I love Tee, but I haven't seen much from him so far that will make me lose sleep if he leaves.

It’ll be lauded as a major move if Kiffin is able to lure Tee away from his alma mater. “How bad are things in Pruitt’s organization if he can’t keep a Tennessee legend in Tennessee? And to lose him to a conference rival? And to Lane Kiffin of all people?”

But, yeah, to anyone paying attention, Tee’s stock has dropped dramatically in the last 3 years. A guy who was once a rising star is now just another dude.

If I recall, there was some turmoil behind Tosh leaving Alabama.

 

I know its sacrilege to say but I'm not upset if Tee leaves. He's replaceable and that spot could be upgraded.

 

Seems like Saban made a comment about him basically just looking for his next coaching move the entire time he was on staff.

I’ll look forward to upgrading, but most of all, that’ll it shut up his vocal acolytes who believe that he should someday be the HC here.
