would love to know what kind of jet fuel that is. That stuff can get out of hand quick. JP-8 is what we use in all our diesel engines and our aircraft. All forms of jet fuel are close to it.

 

looks like the track bubbled up a lot. will be tough to smooth that over I think

 

it might just be debris melted to the track though. Might be able to scrape it off or something

I've never seen anything like that and I've probably watched 1,000 races. I've seen Martinsville disintegrate and rob Jeff Gordon. Hell, I've seen Wily Mo Pena almost knock out a guy by swinging with the barrel of the bat at a foul ball in the dugout, but this take's the proverbial cake.

 

I remember when the NBC camera blew up in Robby Gordon's car.

 

this is hilarious. Tide, a lawn and garden spreader and water. That track does not look good though. Still can't determine if it's just debris melted on the track or the track bubbled up, but I'm leaning toward the latter.

 

The track is in better shape than I first imagined.

 

All we need now is to put some duct tape down and this will officially be the most redneck thing ever.

If for whatever reason Dave Blaney is the winner of this race I couldn't be happier. Blaney is a class act and I always thought he deserved a little better than how his NASCAR career has gone. But I obviously hope they are able to race here soon.
