The typical Sanders supporter is a crazed gunman? Seems like a reasonable take.

Yeah, I like dc but that's ridiculous to say.

This is hilarious. Nevermind everything you just said contradicts everything you think you think.

And as for private schools, I went to one K-12. All those things you fear? They are even worse among the kids themselves at private schools.

My youngest son whacked his shin on the coffee table and yelled out f***. I calmly said "listen, I am not stupid and I know what goes on at the school yard. But here at the house please keep a civil tongue. Especially around mom."

Should have told him to watch his mouth, because that kind of language ****ing pisses you off.

So a crazed gunman cannot have the same beliefs as typical Bernie supporters. You can't separate his actions from his beliefs?

So, this means that Jim David Adkisson was the "typical" conservative?

So you can't separate beliefs from actions. Gotcha.

As far a Jim David Adkisson, "During the interview Adkisson stated that he had targeted the church because of its liberal teachings and his belief that all liberals should be killed because they were ruining the country, ..."

No, "typical" conservatives to not believe that all liberals should be killed.

Regarding Hodgkinson he believed that the rich should be taxed more, strongly anti-trump, Bernie should have run no matter what, Hillary should have conceded the nomination to Bernie, Healthcare for all, there is too much income inequality, policies of Republicans suck, etc. Sounds like the beliefs of the typical Bernie supporter.

I don't quite believe that separating his actions from his beliefs was the intent of the original post.

I think that you left out the belief that something, somehow, justified him going to kill a congressman or two because of these other beliefs. There's more than just an action to do that. It's not littering or some other mindless act.

I would say that separates him even in beliefs from your typical Bernie supporter.

No, he can't. The typical Sanders supporter doesn't believe gunning down people is justified.

Yeah after I hit post I thought that some would go down that rabbit hole.

    You get it.

I was referring to his beliefs not his actions. Most Bernie supporters are probably pacifists. I was referring to Bernie's political beliefs and policies.

Giffords was NOT shot by a conservative, person on the right or republican. She was shot by a paranoid schizophrenic. He also killed a "republican" judge and several others.

In fact this incident bolsters his claims because the media tried to claim it was a right wing person and also tried to imply that Sarah Palin had inflamed the situation with a graphic used in the campaign against Giffords.

The young man had met Giffords and was infatuated with her long before Palin's ad. The media and the left ran with this blame game until it was shown that he was a nut who was obsessed with Giffords.

If we think his actions are separate from his beliefs, why does it matter that he's a Bernie Sanders supporter?

Trump rolls back Obama's Cuba nonsense

“President Trump's plan to fix the problems created by the Obama administration in Cuba is a much-needed first step toward true reform. The facts are undeniable: in return for President Obama's unilateral concessions, the Cuban dictatorship has stepped up the oppression of its people, drastically ramping up religious intimidation and political repression. By making it more difficult for the Castro family and the military to fund their reign of terror and intolerance, the Trump administration’s new policy better advances American national and regional security interests, while sending a clear message to the Castro family, the regime and its cronies: business as usual will no longer be tolerated by the United States government.”

He needs to return to giving Cubans asylum.

The mess that is Great Britain

"...The Tories, as they are commonly known in the UK, will now have to govern as a minority party, or try to form a coalition government, or force another general election. In light of such a deeply disappointing result, Mrs. May’s own future as leader of the Conservative Party could be in question.

While Britain’s voters sent a clear signal of dissatisfaction to the ruling Conservatives, they were not prepared to put the opposition Labour Party into power.

Theresa May defeated her hard left Socialist opponent, Jeremy Corbyn, whose big government, high tax, heavy spending agenda promised to return the UK to the dark days of the 1970s, when Britain’s economy was dubbed the “sick man” of Europe.

An admirer of Karl Marx and Hugo Chavez, Mr. Corbyn is arguably the most radical left-wing party leader in British electoral history.

A Labour victory would have been a disaster for Britain’s economy and its standing in the world. Had Corbyn won, there would have been no guarantee of a successful Brexit, not least because the Labour leadership had fiercely opposed Britain leaving the European Union ahead of the UK’s 2016 referendum on EU membership..."

They cant get out soon enough and then they will have to deal with their fundamentalist Islamic problems.

Yeah, the Cuba policy was working fantastically for 50 years. It was a complete waste then and will continue to be now that Trump has reintroduced some elements of it. Plus, it also seems a rather limited and marginally effective measure anyway, mostly designed to say he got a better "deal", his usual catchword with dubious qualities. Meanwhile, he visits Saudi Arabia and reaffirms our support of that regime, which has been far more detrimental to their people and dangerous to our national interests than Cuba, particularly now that the Cold War is nearly three decades past.

In my interpretation, this combines two of his major goals as president thus far, his desire to reverse everything Obama did (Or, at least, appear to do so) and get credit for his great deal making. So, he's willing to make any kind of limited changes in order to give credit to himself, as he is here.

Really. I love when people ignore what I say and come up with ulterior motives.

Here is the full quote from me:
The first half of the sentence was a lead into the last half of the same sentence. Sort of quod erat demonstrandum if you will.

It was a statement bolstered by his professed political beliefs but it was also a jab. It was not meant to imply that Sanders supporters are violent. Its a cult of personality hence true believers. And they just arent too bright. :)

Nimrod shot up a RINO who has not been much of a supporter of the Freedom Caucus. The Freedom Caucus was Nimrods target. Nimrod was a violent incompetent moron.
