Probably. But you could certainly argue Coker's tenure was more destructive.

 

Dubose won the SEC. He also had a decent high school coaching career and won the SCAC a couple of times at Milsaps after getting the ax at bammer. He can't sniff Dooley's ineptitude.

 

I wish Dooley liked strippers.

 

Dubose did win an SEC title, even though you could argue his 2000 season was the worst coaching SEASON in the history of major college football.

Dooley is definitely the new low benchmark. Just wish he didn't set it at Tennessee.

 

What's harder to understand is why any blonde staffer would.

Which was worse, 2011 or 2012? I'm still not over the fact that the SOB kept his job after losing to that Kentucky team. And he'd apparently still be our coach if a play or two went differently and the team got to six wins last year. We are lucky to be rid of him if you believe Dave Hart's public comments. That is disturbing.

 

They lost a ton from 99 and scholarship limitations began rearing its ugly head. The part Dubose could have done better was not screwing his secretary and preventing the racial divide in his lockeroom by managing the QB situation better.

 

Dave Hart couldn't afford to retain Dooley.

 

2012 by a long shot. Much, much, much more talent, same results.

 

He did deserve to be fired after UK 2011. But when comparing the coaching over the 2011 season and the 2012 season, 2012 was a worse season of coaching. I think 2011 would rank as the second worst season of coaching in college football history. 2010 would be the third worst.

 

They were still pretty good talent wise, really good actually. They were no means a 3-8 team by any stretch of the imagination.

Hackett had multiple top 5 recruiting classes.
