Dennis Dodd on Butch to Purdue

Supposedly said that there are rumors in the coaching community about Butch Jones in talks with Purdue. I know we've already discussed it, but it's interesting coming from a national guy.

 

Evidently Dodd hasn't talked with LWS on VolNation, if he had he would know Butch is staying.

 

...unless Butch decides not to.

 

Goes without saying that it is a really sad state of affairs when Purdue has to think about taking your coach that would otherwise be back next year.

As opposed to, you know, jumping at the chance to take a coach that Tennessee is going to keep.

Anyway - get rid of the buyout. GET RID OF THE BUYOUT!!!!

It's floating on Twitter but he was on the Zone in Nashville this morning as I was going into work and I'm fairly sure he said it on there.
