Heading there Saturday with 12 and 9 year old girls. Fast passes and dining already done. Tips, tricks, advice ?
Use the app to your advantage. Wait times, maps, etc. once you use your fast passes, use the app to book more (one at a time). Refresh as you’re walking around or waiting in line. Every 10 secs or so until you get another booked. I had a lot of luck with that.
Every place that serves food/drink will give you a cups of ice water for free if you ask. That was a life saver when I was there in October as it was hotter than seven hells. Go to parks other than the one that has extended hours for that day. Drink.
I've never been. Always told the boys and wife years ago I would take them if they wanted to go and they chose Holiday World in Indiana.
We didn't do Epcot. We did the other three, plus a second night at Magic Kingdom for the Halloween thing. I wanted to go to Epcot, but was overruled.
I went in 1982 when I was 10 years old. I don't remember much about it. I rode in the very back of a Chrysler Town and Country station wagon. The kind with the wood grain. It was sweet.
Epcot and Hollywood are the most adult friendly with alcohol. Star Wars opens on the 29th. Kids will love Magic Kingdom. It’s still hit as hell here so be sure to hydrate like others have said.
Something my son enjoyed more than anything on our trip was the trading pins that the kids can trade with the workers at the parks/resorts. We bought him some from eBay before we went so he had some to use to trade. I'd imagine your daughters would enjoy it too, especially the younger one.
Also take a picture of where you park every day. It will help at the end of the day to jog the memory. The lots are huge. We also pack a small cooler with some waters and sodas for the ride back. After a long day it helps.
If certain rides have too long lines and you can't get on; if you are ok with missing fireworks, head towards them when everyone is going to watch fireworks. Got on Space Mountain in less than 5 mins that way.
