Guitar, played for approximately 45 years. Since we are telling stuff.

    I'll guess what NYY plays!

    piano, guitar (+bass guitar), drums

10 years of classical piano from early grades till graduated high school, started teaching myself guitar in college, learned the bass about the same time, and started teaching myself to play drums 7 or 8 years ago. probably dabble too much in all to be overly proficient

My youngest got this new Rock Band game where you use an actual electric guitar. He hooked it up and didn't think I knew how to play Satisfaction, then played sweet Home alabama. I am now band from playing with it.

I played trumpet for a few years, but gave it up. Too loud.

Always meant to learn, which is why I own a bass, electric and banjo.

My next wasted musical instrument purchase will be the bagpipes.

I played Trombone from Middle till I went to Marion......... I was going to do the Band thing when I got to Marion and realized it was like a one time when I was at band camp situation. So I just stayed with my Air guitar..... I have always wanted to learn guitar..my son an electric one ... he wants to get some lessons....I guess I need to make it happen!

I too would love to learn to play the bagpipes- Scot-Irish on my mom's side. All the Melungeon is on my dad's. I seriously looked into it once. The cost is huge. Every piper I talked to told me to get the chanter and practice it before I ever bought the whole rig. Said many folks didn't have the wind to play them. I have plenty. I never shut up.

I love big band, bebop jazz, Jango and pretty much all things jazz. Thelonius is a personal favorite. Having Donald Brown in Knoxville is a true treasure. Haven't seen him at Bakers in years but I was truly in awesome the few times I did....

Martins are great guitars. I've owned one, along with many Fender acoutics, a Takamine acoustic electric and some beaters.
