What Jedi? Luke, the force-sensitive who sat next to a retired Jedi in a freighter once?

When is it that the Empire had ceased hostilities with the Jedi? Pretty sure they never stopped.

The Empire believed the Jedi extinct after Vader hunted them down. Seeing Obi Wan changed that. Seeing Luke changed that.

They didn't know Luke wasn't a Jedi. We do, because he never went through the trials. But they didn't.

You don't wage war against something you think extinct. It's the main reason I don't spend Saturdays in November looking to bag a dodo bird.

Ah, the whole mess could have been avoided if Luke would have spoken up about his lack of qualifications.

No, there simply wouldn't have been an episode 5 without Luke. Episode 4 would have ended with the rebellion destroyed by the Death Star.

if Episode 4 made money, there would be an Episode 5. Han Solo comes back at the last second to save his lady, destroys the Death Star himself. Ever seen Space Balls?

You're breaking the 4th wall again. The story doesn't know if money is going to be made or not, it's just a story.

Oh, so Han Solo blowing up the death star is possible. After all, it's just a story.

If that is how it was written, yes.

But odds then that the following movie is titled "The Empire Stikes Back" is close to zero.

"The Empire Surrenders" seems like it'd not be as interesting.

Agreed. Your take that the series is about rebellions and empires is very boring.

Luckily it has and will remain about the force.

Your sad devotion to that ancient religion has not helped you conjure up original material in Episode 7, or given you clairvoyance enough to find Rey's lineage.

I'm just going to post gifs of force sensitives dying to normies for awhile now.

Jango Fett may have been a force sensitive, just not trained. Kinda like Han.

If so, his clones may have been as well.

    You've shown nothing.

Ah, I see. Anyone who ever accomplishes anything against a force user is probably themselves force-sensitive. I didn't realize George Lucas was a Calvinist.

No. In this universe the best tend to be force sensitive.

Faster reflexes, a "6th sense," etc. Just tend to be so. The best moisture farmers probably weren't, but the best bounty hunter?

Think of it more like selection. In that type of trade, against the people you were likely to run up against, faster reflexes tend to be selected for. In a universe where force sensitivity provides for faster reflexes, then it stands to reason that that population would thrive.

What do you mean like Han?

Some regular people were more force sensitive than others, like han and the gets. Could probably argue poe is too.

The gets? And is this just some theory, or is it actually a part of the Star Wars universe?
