Eric Berry Out for Season

Even with a torn achilles, he's still second string at Pro Bowl, IMO.

That sucks. I hope he can recover quickly and be back for next season.

Of course, he can play without one as he only really needs one leg.

 

Yikes. Even for him, that's gonna be tough.

 

I ruptured my Achilles tendon in 1999. It takes some time to heal. And while I never was an athlete, I still try to take it easy on that leg.

And I heard that Berry was doing a good job defensing Gronk.

 

Yeah he did a great job on Gronk.

 

Man I hate this. He'll likely always be my favorite Vol.

 

He gained weight while going through chemo

 

I hate it for him, but I have no doubt he'll be back.

 

man, guy can't catch a break.

 

Apparently Andy Reid has confirmed that it is indeed torn and he is done for the year.

I went ahead and edited the thread title since this is confirmed now. Really feel for the guy, but if anyone can get back to speed quickly, its EB

 

When he doesn't have cancer, a torn acl or a torn achilles', he's a Pro Bowler.

 

Not to mention he's a fantastic person. Hate it for guys like him. But it won't keep him down.
