Sucks for the young man. My father in law had non Hodgkin's. Found it pretty quick and after treatment he was cancer free, praise the Lord. His was from exposure to agent orange in Vietnam All the best for Eric.
Hopefully caught this early. These guys undergo pretty in depth physicals at the start of every season, blood work and all that.
Sucks. I have a brother-in-law who knows the Berry family and would concur that they are first rate people. I have to imagine they got this pretty quickly. They only concern I might have is that Eric is a notoriously tough guy, who may have played through that pain for a decent while. I hope not, though.
