Good run game, I'd say this was worse than expected. Still struggles seeing anything between the hashes, and beyond 5yds ... Prior to the garbage time TD, he had a stretch of 1-11; after the 1Q, he was 2-10, 5yds Final stats against a putrid BG D: 11-23, 47%, 140yds, 6.1YPA, 1 YD, and 3sacks (despite all day in the pocket, flat footed) Best of luck Vols fans, but a change is eminent Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
I'm not. Needs improvement but was mostly aware, made good run reads, slid in the pocket and is enough threat with his legs to make defenses defend him running. And didn't hit a couple lbs on the numbers into triple coverage for pick 6s. Would've had 200 more yards on 2 dropped passes and 2 overthrows deep to open wrs and we are looking at 300 yards rushing and passing. Gotta fix those issues
He runs very timid, which is odd considering his size. His arm is ridiculous but if he can't be accurate with it it doesn't matter. Crompton's transformation in 09 is the only reason I'm not saying screw it, he sucks. Bailey played well last year, in my opinion.
Crompton’s transformation is one of the reasons I’m not totally in despair about our offense. We actually have good QB coaching again. But even with good QB coaching, that sure took a minute
