Matt Simms was pretty horrific. He would still be reviled had we actually committed to starting him consistently for four years like we did with JG. 2005 Ainge and 2008 Crompton were atrocious too.
I think Milton gets the nod because he's the best mix of run and pass, and Heupel likes to run. Won't help much if he can't get his accuracy right
you can keep naming qbs all day and wouldn't change who is the worst for me. Don't really want to look at stats because if you put any of those names above out there for 3 years running a team, they'd dump it short and put up some yards as well if given the ability to suck for so long.
Tuff crowd. And I thought only my wife could remember bad stuff for so long.. Let me be more specific. I can't think of any QB [that was on the field consistently for 3 yrs] that wasn't better than JG. "Crompton for Heisman, baby."
This. Plus Hooker is less afraid of contact. Just can't stretch the field like Milton which if we play like last night I don't think that will be a real problem.
Vols fans, while I don't think much of Hooker either, I truly hope JH makes the switch at QB, fast. Milton is a physical specimen, but a practice QB. He's no longer a young RSFr, this is a college senior with more coaching poured into him than most these young hotshots coming out of High School He's got a UM degree, and will get a Masters out of Knoxville ... I wish the young man the best in his future, but Quarterback isn't it Sent from my SM-G780G using Tapatalk
You’ve got a bigger hard on for Milton than much of our fan base does for JG and we had to deal with him for 4 years.
It doesn't take a genius to predict a qb will look like they have prior, though I do not recall Michigan at any time have multiple wrs wide ass open down the field in their offense and dealing with overthrows.
